The Kouros, Louvre Museum, Paris

Youthful standing figure in a strictly frontal pose, his left leg advanced and his arms by his sides Both his pose and the Beaded hair at the back of the statue shows a particular influence from Egypt. From these attributes we can tell this kouros is from the Archaic Period of Greek sculpture.
